Lordhelpmerun back in action at Albany trials

Apr 12, 2019

Stable star Lordhelpmerun  produced a quality trial performance at Albany today and the three-year-old is zeroing in on a return to racing in the next month.

Last season's WA Sires' Produce Stakes winner, who hasn't started since the WA Guineas last November, was sent straight to the front by jockey Daniel Staeck and controlled the 1000-metre heat.

Held together on straightening, Staeck slipped him an inch of rein and he responded by bounding clear to record a convincing 2.4-length win.

Lordhelpmerun is likely to head straight to the races with this trial under his belt, with a few suitable options available to him in the coming weeks.

The trial was also a good hit out for stablemates Apollo, Triggerfish, Mygirlfrankie and Regal Rebelle, who are all expected to hit the racetrack soon also.
