Despite being the most important skill in the trade, racehorse training is not all about saddling up winners.

Hiring the right staff, selecting quality yearlings and open-and-honest communication with clients are some of the many aspects that are required by successful racing stables.

Experienced and professional, SJ Wolfe Racing is now in a position to provide all of these services and more to our ever-growing list of clients.

Breaking in and pre-training

SJ Wolfe Racing has recently teamed up with gifted young horseman Jarrad Noske.

A champion jockey, Jarrad has recently turned his hand to horse education, and has done a great job educating our 2021 and 2022 yearlings.

The leading regional stable for the past 20 years, SJ Wolfe Racing offers a unique service being the only country-based stable with full time operations in Perth.

This gives all our horses access to a variety of training facilities, which allows for tailored individual horse programmes.

SJ Wolfe Racing choose to agist our horses at Mungrup Stud (Narrikup) and Copperpenny Park (Hopeland).

Some horses are also spelled on our Collingwood Street property in Albany.

Yearling or tried horse selection

We have been very active at sales across Australia in recent years and in the past 12 months have purchased yearlings at the Gold Coast Magic Millions, Inglis Sydney Classic and Perth Magic Millions. We have also enjoyed considerable success with tried horses in the past.

Our stable is a value for money purchaser selecting horses from usually anywhere between $5000 and $60,000.

Client Communications

SJ Wolfe Racing has identified client communication as a key element to a successful racing stable and have developed our website to strengthen this side of the business.

This website promises to provide monthly progress reports on all horses in work or spelling, and provide regular updates for those currently racing and/or trialling.

We also strongly encourage owners to participate in SJ Wolfe Racing’s various social occasions.
