Unraced two-year-old Lot Ho made it back-to-back trial wins at Belmont today, leading throughout over 1000 metres in Heat 5.

Purchased for $110,000 at the Perth Magic Millions yearling sale in 2021, the full brother to Karrakatta Plate winner Hobart Jones, Three Secrets and Knot Secret was sent straight to the front by stable jockey Shaun McGruddy, and after travelling sweetly in transit let down well in the straight to comfortably hold off all the late closers (watch replay below).

Having also won Heat 4 (1000m) at the Belmont June 7 trials, Lot Ho is showing enough to suggest he’s ready to head to the races, however, a decision on whether the So Secret gelding marches on with this campaign or heads to the paddock will be made later this week.

SJ Wolfe Racing also saddled fellow unraced juveniles Arid, Witch Street and Pride Of Tuscany in respective 1000-metre heats this morning, with all three of those heading to the paddock after completing encouraging educational preparations.
